Outstanding Orange Day!

We scooped out the goopy insides of our pumpkins, then roasted and ate the seeds.  Some of the girls tried to make their best "this is SO disgusting" face, but they were loving every minute of it!!!

No Frowns on Brown Day!

On Brown Day, we read Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? and made the most adorable brown bears of our own.  We also made brownies as a class.  They were delicious!

Firefighters Visit!

We listened to a fire safety presentation, then went outside to spray the hose and ride in the truck.  It was a "blast"!!!

Pleasant Pink Day!

Pink pigs and pink lemonade (jello)... could Pink Day be any better???

Bodacious Black Day!

On Black Day, we read the book, Ten Black Dots, then made our own pages to go along with the book.  I made the students try black licorice candy as I took pictures of them, and the time lapse is so funny!  Watch as two students run for the trash can!

Perfect Purple Day!

On Purple Day, we read Harold and the Purple Crayon, then made our own Harold-inspired artwork. We made a thumbprint grape craft and ate giant, delicious, purple grapes!
